The Summerland Art Gallery is Summerland’s artistic heartbeat. With six gallery openings each year and a focus on local and regional artists, it’s no wonder that people come from all over the Okanagan to see the exhibits at Summerland’s Art Gallery.

Experience a journey into the minds and hearts of artists who have practised their craft in the Okanagan, channelling both the inspirational light and slower pace of life of our valley. The Summerland Art Gallery’s permanent collection features artists of note, such as Marjorie Croil, Bill Hibberd and artist and sculptor Michael Hermesh. See the work of Bettina Somers, who not only produced stunning works of art in her lifetime, but also worked on the world’s first, top-secret computer in Britain in 1940.

The Art Gallery also provides opportunities for hands-on experiences in art workshops and the colourful community banner program.
