GETTING TO SUMMERLAND

LOCATION

Summerland is located along Highway 97 in the South Okanagan on the shores of Okanagan Lake, conveniently nestled between Penticton and Kelowna.

Travel the spacious and scenic Hwy 5a from Kamloops, or head over the Coquihalla Highway 5 from Vancouver, both of which take you to Merrit and the turnoff for 97C Okanagan Connector. From here, it’s an easy drive to where the Connector merges with Hwy 97 just north of Peachland, only 20 minutes away from Summerland.

If you’re driving from Calgary, connect to TransCanada Hwy 1 to Sicamous, where it links to Hwy 97a heading south towards the Okanagan. If you’re journeying north from the USA, Summerland is just a one-hour drive from the US border at the junction of Highways 97 and 3 near Osoyoos.

Camping is available at nearby provincial parks, private RV camping sites as well as the Peach Orchard Campsite, which is owned by the District of Summerland. RV owners will find a sanitation station located just south of the main town at convenient pullout in Trout Creek.
